Ice Dragon Slayer

Even though Gray's magic is Ice and it's awesome! There might be a Ice Dragon Slayer that is on par with Natsu's strength and potential... Also there might be an Ice Dragon that rivals Igneel(The Fire Dragon)...
So what do you think?

An Ice dragonslayer would be unnecessary and if anything be Gray's rival.

It's actually unlikely that there is no Ice Dragon out there. Simple Shounen logic-> If there's an fire dragon there bust be an ice or water dragon too. However that does not necessarily mean we will ever see an ice dragon slayer. If there will be one I agree with Nexev it would be Grays enemy not Natsus. We've seen a lot about Ur and I doubt we will see much more about her. Maybe some bits when we move on to Ur-Tear, but mostly the Ur story has been told right? I can't remember any hints about here being a dragonslayer. Questions for the more erudite folks: Did Grays training with Ur end before or after Igneel and all the other dragons vanished?


Ps: I just realized there is no timeline for Fairy Tail anywhere out there. Someone wanna make one?

If gazzile where earth dc and not metal dc i would be shure that there is an water ds cuz of the 4 element bla bla
But instead of adding new ds it would be an good thing 2 see an dragon who helps natsu bla bla and before he dies he tells natsu that he will met igneel soon

I think Mashima might be either blending different ideologies, or just picking and choosing what he wants to use. Or, he could just be doing it at random. It's too early to tell. Either way, I think that ice would just be an ability of a water dragon since ice is just water.

By that logic, water comes from Earth as well.


Also, earth usually reffers to the natural ground, such as dirt and sand.

Hasn't Urtear's magic also been described as a lost magic? I'm just throwing this out there, but she may be the Time Dragon Slayer. We need some legitimately evil Dragon Slayers, since Gazille had a Heel Face Turn that turned him into comic relief.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Avatar with how metal ties into the earth, since Toph bended metal in the season two finale.

I really think that Gazille belongs in the "metal" subclass, since Mashima had shown us what the ground element loks like, Jura

Jura looks like a dragonslayer, controlling the element, and had the scaly thing on his arm when he does his attack, the one similar to what Luxus had in his arm when he is first revealed a fake DS... but he's not...oh well

Thats a cool possibility, maybe for a future enemy to Gray or Natsu. I dont really see it happening because of Gray but I think it would be pretty awesome.

i can see why you put Wendy in the "wind" catagory but is already been stated that she is a(if not the) "sky" dragon slayer. and to all the nay sayers metal is an earthen element so gazille would fit into the earth DS slot.
